Tracy Fehr, B.A., B.F.A., MBB
Tracy Fehr is the founder of Healing Edge Counselling. She has worked with individuals and groups as an addiction and mental health counsellor, therapeutic art practitioner, group facilitator and curriculum writer for over 20 years.
Tracy holds Certificates in Counselling (U of M), Spiritual Formation (U of W) and Mind Body Bridging (U of Utah) . She is a professionally trained visual artist who has exhibited in group and solo shows. She is a recipient of Manitoba and Canada Council Arts Grants.
Tracy has worked for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, Women’s Centres and Red River College as a counsellor, group therapist and educator. For eight years she was a trainer and spokesperson in reducing tobacco dependence and promoting tobacco cessation.
Tracy has been employed by private treatment centres and has developed curriculum in both mental health and addiction recovery. She is sensitive to the individual needs of clients and will assist the person in creating a plan for wellness and recovery that best suits his or her needs.
Tracy maintains a professional art practice that is spiritually focused and includes the use of clay, thread and print making.
